Summary:
|
Mountain View Los Altos High School District (The District), which is in the process of implementing the approved 2019 campus expansion, is now proposing the removal of up to six additional trees that were not accounted for in the 2019 IS/MND, which assumed that no trees would be removed as part of the project. The six trees are located along the southeast campus property line, adjacent to the Student Services Building parking lot, and would be removed to accommodate electric vehicle charging stations and a new accessible path of travel from the parking lot into campus. 30 trees would remain undisturbed in that area.
CEQA Guideline §15164 states that the Lead Agency or a responsible agency shall prepare an Addendum to a previously adopted Negative Declaration if only minor technical changes or additions are necessary, which is the case here.
