The MVLA Instructional Support team (IST) Tim Farrell, Tiffany Karow and Kim Rogers will give a presentation on the approach to constructive meaning teaching and training district wide. Constructing Meaning's Vision of Explicit Language instruction is a research based framework with three salient instruction features: Cognitive tasks, Target Language, Instruction and application.
