Summary:

The District conducted Request for Proposals (“RFPs”) for the Los Altos High School Student Services Building (“LAHS SS”) and Mountain View High School Student Services Building (“MVHS SS”) Projects. InsideSource and Campbell Keller have submitted proposals similar in proposed cost, but the final cost is not yet determined as a few items require final specification and the District may consider the option to include storage costs to alleviate delivery/lead-time issues concerns for delivery, due to the difficulties facing the current supply/inventory climate. Both proposals’ totals are within their respective project’s budget. As the next available Board Meeting will take place in August 2022, to reduce concerns regarding manufacturing lead time and ensure vendors are contracted for delivery of the furniture, Administration recommends authorizing the Associate Superintendent, Business Services to enter into Contracts for furniture procurement upon final review of the RFPs. |

The awarded contracts will not exceed $1,600,000 total, combination of MVHS SS and LAHS SS, to come from Measure E funds. |
