Summary:

Education code 52060-52062 require that a Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP) be agendized for a Public Hearing at a Board meeting to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the LCAP and give input prior to the Board adopting the LCAP at a subsequent meeting, prior to June 30, 2022.
The LCAP is a tool for local educational agencies to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes.
MVLA prepared a 3-year (2021-2024) LCAP, which was approved by the Board in June of 2021. Included in this document is a 1-year progress check of our 3-year plan. It reviews the MVLA LCAP goals, a review of our actions, and our metrics. Our 2021-2022 updates will show that MVLA is meeting our goals for academic excellence for all students, increasing community engagement, supporting safety and wellness, and continuing to provide ongoing training and professional learning to our staff, so they continue the academic excellence for our students.
On June 2, 2022, the Board President opened a Public Hearing to accept comments on the proposed Mountain View Los Altos High School LCAP. Comments have been accepted since that date and incorporated into the draft Plan.
