Summary
:
Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE). MetroEd provides a large variety CTE classes for high school students. MetroEd is located in San Jose and districts from all over Santa Clara County send high school students to MetroEd to enroll and participate in a high-quality CTE pathway. MVLA will provide transportation for twelve of our 11th/12th grade students to attend MetroEd for half a day (either morning session or afternoon session (in which they take the remaining days' classes at their site high school) for the 23-24 school year. At the end of one year, a student has completed a CTE pathway.
Funding
:
StrongWorkForce Grant will fund twelve students at $4,476/semester/student for a total of $107,424.00
