A request was received for 25 students from Mountain View High School to travel to Iwata, Japan, April 8-18, 2022, to promote global citizenship, teach leadership and organization skills, and share culture. Staff is seeking preliminary approval for the trip with the understanding that execution is contingent upon COVID-19 considerations at the time of the trip in both the originating and destination countries.

The trip is paid by the students and through fundraising. There may be a few small costs for miscellaneous expenses that are covered by the school site funds.
