These updates also align with current educational standards and practices, ensuring that students participating in Independent Study receive a robust and equitable educational experience. The revisions address changes in state requirements, incorporate best practices for distance and digital learning, and provide clear guidelines for student eligibility, instructional strategies, and evaluation procedures.
Approving this revision of the Board Policy will ensure that our policies are aligned with the latest updates to the Education Code.
