Summary:
|
Mountain View Los Altos High School District is requesting Change Order #2B with Galeb Paving, Inc. be ratified:
- Credit for Parking lot B omission of striping work at the existing parking lot directed by the Architect. Another project will encumber this scope in the future.
- DTSC required removal of existing soil and truck out to class III landfill in addition to placement of new clean fill at utility line trenches.
- Furnish labor, materials, and equipment to remove a portion of an existing trench drain behind the new gym building. Additionally, excavation and compaction for mow band at bullpen/softball field, per District request.
- Furnish labor, materials, and equipment to off haul excess dirt spoils estimated at roughly150 cubic yards from site per District request due to additionally generated soils on the classroom and gym project.
- Additional contaminated soils requirement to off-haul to a class I disposal site due to contamination levels of tested existing soils being too high for reuse on the classroom and gym project.
