Summary:
|
Per Article 6.6 of the agreement between MVLA and the superintendent, if the superintendent receives a satisfactory evaluation, "the Board shall approve an extension of this agreement by one (1) additional year as specified in this Agreement's extension of Agreement Section.
Additionally, per Article 7.2 of the agreement, "with a positive written evaluation of the superintendent, the Superintendent's base salary shall be increased by at least the same percentage as the increase in the California Consumer Price Index (CaCPI) for All Urban Consumers for all Items, as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations, over the preceding Contract Year". The DIR CPI annual average for the San Francisco-Oakland-Hayward area in 2024 was 2.8%. Therefore, the Superintendent's salary for the 2025-26 school year is $359,800.00
