Summary:
|
Pursuant to Government Code ยง66006, local agencies that collect developer impact fees must annually report the income and expenses of the fund as well as the beginning and ending balances. The fee for residential construction from July 1, 2021 to June 26, 2022 was $1.36 per square foot and the fee for commercial construction was $0.22 per square foot. As of June 27th, 2022 the fee for residential construction was $1.60 per square foot and the fee for commercial construction was $0.26 per square foot.
The 2021-2022 report on developer impact fees on the following page shows that a total of $1,226,816.60 was collected in developer impact fees. This compares to $1,873,078.02 collected during the prior year.
During 2021-2022, a total of $510,204.23 was expended. $154,252 was for debt service related to the construction of the Alta Vista campus; $22,641.25 was for contracted services related to the school facility program; $ 129,635 was for rental of Mountain View portables; $199,100 was for rental of Los Altos portables; $931.40 was for interim housing costs and $3,644.58 was for the district office modular classrooms project.
This report has been made available to the public according to Government Code Section 66006 and has been mailed to parties who have requested such notification.
