In the interest of holding students harmless during the global pandemic crisis, California school districts are examining the benefit of credit/no credit for second semester students.
Counties in the Bay Area are considering joint efforts to mitigate challenges with distance learning, grading, equity and access. Santa Clara County Office of Education is coordinating efforts to this end.
Staff will discuss the topic and provide recommendation to the Board regarding credit/no credit grading for second semester of the 2019/2020 school year.
