District Administration recommends using the Building Fund (Fund 21-0) to pay for the cost of stadium lights and new public address (PA) systems at Los Altos High School and Mountain View High School. The Building Fund was established with proceeds from the sale of old Mountain View High School on Castro St. Over the decades, the Building Fund has been used for multiple facilities enhancements and construction. Additional funds have been added to the Building Fund during that time as well. The current Building Fund balance is sufficient to pay the projected cost for stadium lights and PA systems.
