Summary:
|
Pursuant to Government Code §66006, local agencies that collect developer impact fees must annually report the income and expenses of the fund as well as the beginning and ending balances. The fee for residential construction from July 1, 2023 to May 19, 2024 was $1.60 per square foot and the fee for commercial construction was $0.26 per square foot. As of May 20th, 2024 the fee for residential construction was $1.72 per square foot and the fee for commercial construction was $0.28 per square foot.
The 2023-2024 report on developer impact fees on the following page shows that a total of $823,249.49 was collected in developer impact fees. This compares to $1,564,906.40 collected during the prior year.
During 2023-2024, a total of $547,072.25 was expended. $152,599.25 was for debt service related to the construction of the Alta Vista campus. $155,555.00 was for the rental of portables at MVHS and $238,918.00 was for the rental of portables at LAHS due to construction.
This report has been made available to the public according to Government Code Section 66006 and has been mailed to parties who have requested such notification.
