Summary:
|
Mountain View Los Altos High School District is requesting Change Order #4A with Duran & Venables be ratified:
- Relocate existing surplus soil from edge of the designated
stockpile area at Los Altos Campus due to added DTSC soil
remediation work. The work was so the existing domestic fire
and water lines heading to the 900-Wing Building could be
excavated, removed, and replaced with clean fill with identifier
fabric placed on top, per DTSC requirements and direction.
- Provide additional materials and labor to reconstruct the rock
entrance at the Los Altos site, per stormwater pollution
prevention plan and District request. General conditions
construction rock to be off hauled after project is finished.
- Remove construction rock at entrance of Mountain View
Campus, per District request. Removal due to completion of
project as part of best practices site clean-up.
- Remobilize and fluff wet areas at Los Altos Campus due to rain
events and stagnant puddles not dissipating.
- Perform added grading at Los Altos site to dry-out wet soils due
to rain events. Work transpired on Friday evening and Saturday
to allow site progress to continue and allow to dry over the
weekend for upcoming Monday work schedule.
- Rework mow band area already sub grade per contract due to
wet soils at Los Altos Campus. Scope includes fluff, recompact
after dry, and final subgrade grading. Added cost to complete
work expeditiously so concrete mow band can be placed, which
was delayed due to wet weather delays.
