Summary:
|
The Education code requires that the District and our bargaining units sunshine/publicize topics that will be discussed in negotiations this year. The purpose of this is to allow public comment. Our current negotiated agreement with CSEA runs through June 20, 2020. The agreement specifies that certain articles may be reopened during this time. For the 2019-20 the agreement with CSEA specifies Article VI (wages) and two articles each chosen by the District and the Association. There are additional articles to be discussed based on prior agreements that automatically open for negotiation. Also, the contract specifies that the respective articles related to Health and Welfare benefits will be negotiated this year in preparation for the 2020-21 plan year. These specific issues, interests and possible options identified for this year are attached and have been made available.
