Summary
:
Mountain View Los Altos High School District is requesting Change Order #1E with McGuire and Hester be ratified:
- Added irrigation line on the Los Altos site due to not shown on as-builts and contractor demolished all per plans due to design omission.
- Provided material and labor for a new irrigation line at Los Altos to the existing tennis courts quick connect fittings. The quick connects will provide water supply to be able to wash off the courts if required for maintenance. Cost was revised to include an extra portion.
- Added tree bubbler irrigation and lines at Los altos which were missing on the bid set plans. Scope was missing water to new trees shown on the landscaping plans.
- Added baseball fines in the warning track area at Mountain View campus for bullpen, outfield, backstop, and walkway which are not shown on the plans to be freshened up per District request.
- Removed existing and reinstalled new decomposed granite along edge of existing fence line at the Los Altos site which was the existing pathway to softball batting cages. Replaced rotten header board along edge to hold back material per District request.
- Added two trees, mulch, and irrigation at the Los Altos 900-wing Bldg. due to added planter areas and beautify adjacent per District Request.
- Added baseball fines in outfield and foul areas of Los Altos which are not shown in the plans. Plans only show half of this work and scope was missing to refreshen all areas played per District request.
