Summary
:
Mountain View Los Altos High School District is requesting Change Order #2A with Duran & Venables be ratified:
- Surplus spoils removal at Los Altos due to waste manifest issues. Soil spoils could not be exported by contractor. Another onsite contractor removed the dirt spoils so work could continue without delay.
- Los Altos site rip and fluff due to weather events. Site was not drying out after a few days which prompted area to be reworked so work could continue per District request.
- Prepared for asphalt paving at the Los Altos site due to rains and contractor access to the field project. Area was cleaned up and re-graded.
- Installed service road and entrance at Mountain View campus along fields all the way to Oak Ave per District request. Plans only had a portion in scope at bid time set.
