Summary:
|
Mountain View Los Altos High School District is requesting Change Order #19A with Sausal Corporation be ratified:
- Changes to Building R south elevation wall finish due to value engineering on the exterior walls at the classroom project. This was a reduced cost and approved by the architect.
- Labor impact add due to ungraded site conditions and coordination issues. There were large areas and open trenches causing a lack of work progress.
- Added building T angled brace frame lower pads. Cost is for material and labor to install the added pads and ties.
- Added work to repair and finish the end of overhang on the classroom building near east drive.
- Work stoppage per electrical subcontractor due to not being complete in either of the gyms. This delay prevented the gym flooring from being installed, and the contractors came from Southern California.
- Remobilize per District request, due to an elevator site access work delay as the elevator was not ready to be installed. Site and materials were cleared, and work began the next work day.
- Cost difference of $2,321.10 for gusset plate pads detail. Original cost per work directive 175 was $32,562.24, actual cost is $34,883.24.
- Field modify the staircase and guard railings. There was a request for information response to change the design. This was not a cost or material change. The work was on the exterior grand staircase leading to the culinary classroom and pool area.
