Staff will present an update on the development of an MVLA Ethnic Studies Course, including the collaboration between sites, common interests, next steps in course development, and the proposal for a year-long Ethnic Studies course for MVHS and LAHS freshmen which will engage students in learning the interdisciplinary study of race and ethnicity, as understood through the perspectives of various racial groups in the United States.
