Raylynn Virasak, Mountain View High School teacher, is the first recipient to receive a direct scholarship from the Los Altos Kiwanis Club intended to support one teacher per year pursuing a teaching certification in serving special needs students and critical learners. Ms. Virasak, who began her career as an assistant instructor, returned to college where she earned a bachelor's degree in human development and completed a dual-credential program and a master's degree in special education in 2019. The Board of Trustees is proud to honor Raylynn Virasak, her accomplishments, and offer congratulations on receipt of the Kiwanis Club scholarship. |
