Summary:
|
The California Department of Education requires that the local governing board approve the district’s application for funding of Categorical Aid Programs (Con App I). The Consolidated Application Part I allows a district to apply for funding in multiple programs through one single application. Preliminary budgets are being developed for federally and state funded programs as this information becomes available from the CDE. Final allocations of actual entitlements typically arrive within 90 days of the passing of the state budget. Board Approval of the Consolidated Application, Part I gives the district the authority to submit the Consolidated Application, Part I to the State Department of Education. |
