Summary:
Mountain View Whisman School District has placed Measure T, a $259 million school improvement bond measure, on the March 3, 2020, ballot.  If passed by 55% of voters, this measure will:

- Provide affordable housing options for Mountain View teachers and staff

- Replace aging, inefficient windows, lighting, heating and ventilation systems for cost savings and environmental sustainability

- Upgrade facilities to accommodate expected enrollment growth and ensure students can attend their neighborhood schools

- Update classrooms and labs to maintain the quality of technology, art, music and science programs

- Upgrade electrical, internet and data systems to handle modern learning technology.

The Board of Trustees of the Mountain View Los Altos High School District support Mountain View Whisman's mission of providing a high quality education to elementary and middle school students which include updated and upgraded facilities and systems.  Affordable housing options to attract and retain highly qualified teachers will greatly benefit students.
