The high school calendar is adopted annually by the Board of Trustees to establish the beginning and end of the school year, recognize legal holidays, and provide for local holidays and other periods when school is not in session. Education Code 37220 subdivision (e) allows the District to revise the date that schools close in observance of any holiday identified in subdivision (a) through the adoption of a Board Resolution and that is also included (No. 23/24 -11). |
