Since receiving bids and awarding contracts for this project, necessary change orders to the scope of work have exceeded ten percent of the original contract amount. Based on the information as outlined in the resolution, it would be futile and would not produce an advantage to the District to attempt to bid the additional work. Change Order #2C (ratified by Board on 6/2/22), #3C (ratified by Board on 8/8/22), #4C (ratified by Board on 11/17/22), #5C (under 25K), #6C (under 25K), #7C (ratified by Board on 5/8/23), #8C (under 25K) #9C (ratified by Board on 10/16/23) and the accompanying resolution is for work already performed. The resolution is required for contract compliance. The change order is within the project budget. |
