Summary:
|
Every three years, LEAs are to assess and revise their Local School Wellness Policy under Board Policy 5030 to ensure it aligns with current federal and state regulations and reflects the district's commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our students. The policy outlines the district's goals for nutrition education, physical activity, and other school-based activities that are designed to promote student wellness.
In addition, under BP 5030, the Local School Wellness Policy assessment results shall be submitted to the Board. |
