In accordance with California Education Code requirements, Board Policy 5141.52 and the corresponding Administrative Regulation 5141.52 – Suicide Prevention – must be reviewed by the Board every five years. Both the policy and administrative regulation are currently aligned with the most recent California School Boards Association (CSBA) recommendations and reflect up-to-date legal and best practice guidance. No changes are being proposed at this time. |
